PROFILE

From the time I was 7 years old, I knew I wanted to be a singer. It's kind of funny to think about it now but starting at the time, I knew how to attract a crowd. Even then my peers, most of who were around my age would call me over to sing.

Later, I started writing my own material. I wanted to prepare myself for a career in music and I tried to associate myself with the skills and people needed to accomplish this goal.

09/07/ 07: Sales going well.

A month after announcing the release of "Amen", all indications are that CD sales are doing as well as expected. As a result, we would like to thank all the fans, store owners and distributors for all the support and encouragement you have provided. Your efforts will go a long way in helping us to finish up the production and distribution on Haftom's first DVD which will feature songs from both "Hilfe" and "Amen".

08/06/ 07: Amen heads to store: Additional Distributors wanted.

The studios will begin shipping the Amen album to stores in the Atlanta area this week and expects to do the same across North America over the next two weeks. Sales in North America will focus on CDs will cassettes and CDs will be sold in Ethiopia.

07/16/ 07: Millennium Producer/Engineer Yonas hands Haftom master recording of "Amen" Album.

Producer Yonas Mehari finishes arrangement of Haftom G/Michael's "Amen" album and provides him with a master copy. The album which features 11 wonderfully crafted songs and took 1 year to finish.
